<h2>What is a Wiki?</h2>
 
A Wiki is a collaborative webpage whose contents can be edited by anyone who has access to it. <a class="wiki_link_ext" href="http://www.wikipedia.org/" rel="nofollow">****Wikipedia****</a> is probably the best known example of this.Typically, a webpage has one author. A Wiki allows you to have as many authors as you want.

<h2>How can I use this in my classroom? </h2>
 <ul><li>see examples above and the math and language arts pages on this wiki</li><li>Teacher and IT coordinator can collaborate to create a list of websites students should use to explore a specific topic.</li><li>Collaborative Text Books: let the students write their own textbook.</li><li>ePortfolios: You can upload pictures, attach files, and embed video</li><li>Collaboration between teachers: Create a lesson plan online and other could add to it</li><li>Collaboration between students: Instead of answering questions for a text book, they could use a pathfind and post answers, pictures and video.</li><li>A teacher webpage</li></ul>
